INPEAU

The Institute of Research and Studies in University Administration (INPEAU) aims to be an agent of change in the management of university administration, fostering the development of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

The Institute assumed the functions previously assigned to the Center for Research and Studies in University Administration (NUPEAU), created in 1988. Over the years, the Center has developed activities in the area as an agent facilitating political, social and behavioral changes, especially in the training of professionals to meet the demands of HEIs. In addition to contributing to the training of managers, masters and doctors, NUPEAU has organized numerous events of relevance for the development of HEIs, such as seminars, congresses and international colloquia on university management.

INPEAU is reviving this history and continuing the process, establishing new paths to meet the most contemporary institutional needs.

The Institute’s objectives are:

I – to develop and support teaching, research and extension activities in the field of University Administration, aiming at the academic, technical-scientific and administrative improvement of the area;

II – to generate, systematize, manage and make available publications in the field of University Administration;

III – to develop training and development programs for members of national and foreign institutions;

IV – to establish and mediate partnerships with national and foreign institutions to carry out activities in the area of ​​University Administration;

V – to promote exchanges with national and foreign organizations, aiming at carrying out teaching, research and extension in the area of ​​University Administration;

VI – to plan, organize, carry out and support similar events and activities in the field of University Administration;

VII – to provide support to researchers, students and managers who develop activities at INPEAU;

VIII – award prizes and other academic and scientific honors within the scope of the University Administration, in compliance with the UFSC’s regulatory and statutory rules.

Registration with the UFSC Research Office
